Sal and Kris has their gorgeous intimate winter wedding at Mallory Court, Leamington Spa, a wedding full of laughter.
In addition to these two gorgeous weddings, I also covered several fabulous Christmas parties in London, and had a very lovely day at the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios, capturing a corporate event. Not forgetting some family portraits and business photography. It never ceases to amaze me the fabulous and exciting places that this job takes me and the truly lovely people I get to meet. I hope that 2016 is being kind to you all, I won’t make my usual promise of trying to update my blog, I do and will try, but honestly I enjoy being out taking images, being creative and meeting my clients much more than sitting at my desk updating the website]]>
So, be bold, be brave, be beautiful, book in and give yourself and your business a little boost.
The Event Logistics Management team did an outstanding job of feeding everyone gorgeous food (That included me too :)) and the night was packed with a whole host of exciting treats including talking Christmas trees, magician, band, disco, cocktails, henna tattoos, face painting, Camel photo booth, light up glasses by Chemion Glasses UK, the list goes on!
Here is a little look at how gorgeous it all looked.
If you are hosting a special event and would like some photography to capture it please get in touch]]>
I only stayed a short time to capture everyone before dinner, you don’t always need to book a photographer for hours on end, it was all about capturing the family together.
Here is a little peek.
If you peek often at my blog you may recognise 3 of the faces

Nikki from Budd’s Flowers by Design
Debbie from Debbie Mac Hair and Make Up
Rachel from Butterfly Bridal Boutique
Karin from Stratton Court Barn
and our gorgeous model for the day was May.
The idea behind the day and shoot was to bring together some wedding ideas that were already floating around and put a new twist on them, such as the moss covered step seating plan, as well as bring in some lovely strong and bright autumn colours as a direct contract to the pastels that have been so widely seen in the summer months.
Stratton Court Barn is a lovely rustic country wedding venue and we wanted to reflect this in the styling of the shoot and images. The gorgeous dresser in the main barn was a beautiful stage for our Lovely cake made by the talented Moon bug Cakes. It also provides a really beautiful backdrop in the room for floral displays or anything else you want to make a feature of.
Nikki also wanted to bring to the fore some ideas for using slices of tree trunk, by making a feature in a usually unused corner of the room turning it into a feature. Using candles and skeleton leaves and bark you can transform jam jars. Add in some contrasting rafia to complete the look.
We had a lot of fun choosing gowns from Rachel’s fabulous boutique in Bicester. This season there are sooooo many gorgeous styles to choose from. Dresses with sleeves, lace straps, gorgeous lace capes reminiscent of Downton Abbey, beautiful backs, sparkle detail, no sparkle. The list goes on.
Then working with Debbie we worked some relaxed natural make up and hair styles, working up to some more structured styles and adding in some more dramatic eye and lip colours. We had flowers in the hair, in a halo ring and left hair natural. It really was great to try so many different ideas.
Anyway I will stop wittering on now and let you view the images and see for yourself the fun we had. We hope they give you lots of ideas for your own wedding.
If you like any of the ideas in this shoot get in touch with any of the suppliers as they would all love to talk creatively and create something new just for you]]>
2014 has been another exciting year and I have still have stories to tell and share, but for now I want to share this beautiful message that has just dropped into my inbox and then wish you a super festive time.
Just thought I would email to say that we have safely received our wedding album. The album is absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be more happier with it. And we love the little presentation box for the USB – so cute.
We just want to say a huge thank you for all your hard work throughout the time leading up to our wedding, the big day itself, and all the work that you have put into it afterwards. You have given us something that we can treasure forever and words cannot thank you enough! We will definitely be recommending you to friends and family as we loved your friendly and relaxed approach and we are so, so glad that we chose you to capture our wedding – you’ve done it brilliantly.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a brilliant new year and we hope to stay in touch
Lots of Love
Amy and Rob

Finally I need to thank my fabulous friend and creative Artist Vandy Massey Art for this great image and urge you all to head over and peek at her website and challenging Charity Art Project Running with Brushes.
I’d heard lots of exciting things about this Oxfordshire wedding and events venue, but nothing can quite prepare you for the constant eye candy that greets you and challenges you creatively in every corner and inch of the house. Truly full of imagination.

It wasn’t quite my first time back at Chilford since the fire, but almost, and it was lovely to see a completely different style of wedding venue emerge. The catering team are amazing and I was treated to a gorgeous dinner, so be sure to check out Langley Larder catering. Not only that but they ensured that Amy and Rob’s wedding ran perfectly and that is a real skill.
Congratulations Amy and Rob thank you for choosing me to capture your day and the warm and friendly welcome by your friends and family xxxxxxxx
